Waves, Wind and Watercolor

The island breezes and a most unusual tree called "Flamboyant Tree" gave inspirational to watercolor sketches on my recent trip to Saint Croix in the US Virgin Islands. These trees were all over the Caribbean Island loaded with bright orange blossoms. Early morning breakfast overlooking the sea was my routine. Before starting a day lounging under a beach umbrella I would begin a new small watercolor and apply those techniques I had learned at the before mentioned Taos Watercolor Workshop. I highly recommend island breezes for everyone.

It's Leap Day 2024!

How often do you get to write that title? You know what I mean. Just every four years can you remember to write about this special day....
